Hi! Yes, we understand that the previous system was simpler—all you had to do was grind to max out the power of fire magic, and after that, all battles could be completed with a single click. This made the entire travel gameplay meaningless and turned balancing enemy strength into a complete headache.
The current roguelike system is designed to address these issues. Now, each journey is self-contained, which allows us to properly balance enemies and avoid simply inflating numbers for new foes.
This was explained in the tutorial. As I understand it, many people skip it :( You need to defeat bosses (any of them), and this will unlock new random items for you. We’ll think about how to make this clearer or possibly allow unlocking them for resources.
You can join the Discord server and write in the bug channel or directly to our programmer. Just in case—did you miss a game day? Sometimes that’s enough to get a new task.

Hi. That's why we created the "green" and "blue" outcomes. They are equal in value but push the character in different directions based on their personality. Perhaps we should have replaced "green" with, for example, "yellow" to completely avoid the familiar "green/red" logic.

The illusion of choice kind of annoys me. I like Elizabeth how she is and Picking either option is forcing the surgical Manuscript choice. Same reason I stop playing most RPG's made by larger developers.

You recently built a new building in the Academy map as part of a quest—you need to click on it in the evening. So, wait until evening, then go to the Mansion map and click on the building in the bottom left corner.

Hi! Most likely, you completed the first episode with Rose when the Memory Abyss scene was broken. You can continue playing your current save, or you can use the "New Game+" button in game menu after load game save, which will preserve all the resources you’ve spent and start a new game. This way, you’ll be able to complete all the quests much faster. Currently, "inner conflict points" are needed to choose a character’s ending, and I don’t think a difference of 2-3 missing points will significantly change the outcome. On the other hand, many dialogues and quests might have changed since the last time you played.
This game is crazy good! For the longest while i was just happily blasting my way through all the mobs, collecting treasure, upgrading spells, having a grand ol time. 10/10
Are you talking about the web version? Unfortunately, I'm not sure what could be causing this. Try using a different browser, or download the free version, as the web version is just a demo and only includes the very beginning of the game.
At the moment, you can support the developer (us) by purchasing it. However, it will become public after some time when a new update is released. That is, the public version usually lags behind the paid version by 1-2 updates.
