Devlog#10. Journey. Battle

Hey everyone! We were really pushing to release update 0.2 by this weekend, but unfortunately we didn’t manage to finish all the art for the “Journey” mode.

While we’re working on that, here’s an update on what we’ve been up to and what’s done:

  • A CG scene featuring a new character is complete. (with animations)
  • Two new characters have been added to the story.
  • The beginning of the game has been rewritten to include the introduction to “Journey” and the new characters.
  • We've drawn three character cards that players can unlock in "Journey." Upgrading these cards will allow you to "undress" the characters depicted on them.
  • The world generation system for "Journey" is complete.
  • The combat system for “Journey” mode is almost finished.
  • We’ve started working on a new scene with Lilian (for version 0.2.1).
  • We’ve started working on the continuation of Victoria’s storyline.

The new patch will add the following fetishes:

v_gin_l, an_l, footj_b, and futa scenes. Futa will be optional, in case you want to spice things up a bit.

Here’s a bit about the combat system in the new mode:

  • Throughout your adventure, you may encounter events that lead to combat.
  • Each cell in the game world will have a difficulty level, which affects the events that occur within it.
  • The more difficult the cell, the more battles and bad events you’ll encounter, but also the higher the reward.
  • When combat begins, you’ll see a local map with your characters and the enemies positioned on it.
  • Combat happens in turn-based mode.
  • Each enemy has a health bar, a set of actions, and properties that reflect their characteristics. For example, a goblin might be "small", "green", and "humanoid".
  • Each round consists of the player’s action followed by the actions of all the enemies in turn.
  • On your turn, you can use any item from your inventory.
  • Items may have additional effects depending on the target’s properties. For example, a spell might deal more damage to targets with the "Large" property.
  • Some items can also apply temporary effects like burning, poisoning, or stunning.
  • After defeating a boss, you'll be able to unlock a special CG scene.

We would love to use spells from the Harry Potter universe for this mode, but unfortunately, its combat system wasn’t detailed enough for our purposes. We’ll be using mostly simple and understandable names, closer to the system in D&D.

We are grateful to everyone who continues to support us. We hope that together, we can develop this new mode and our game to an incredible level.

We are always available on our Discord and ready to answer all your questions.
