Devlog#16


Hey everyone!

We're hard at work on the next update. We've already finished the new character, who, according to the vote, will be named Olivia (this name received 42 votes, or 31% of the total according to the weight of votes from support levels).

Also, our artist is now actively working on the assortment of her shop. Based on our second vote, we'll be making costumes for:

  • Lilian 26 (21%) votes
  • Audrey 24 (20%) votes
  • Rose 24 (20%) votes

The Journey mechanics update has also reached its final stage:

  • We've finished rebalancing the characters
  • Implemented and written a progression system where you can unlock spells and various enhancements for them yourselves
  • Separated spells from the inventory so you don't have to decide whether to keep Sectumsempra or take that valuable goblin talisman
  • Added a lot of new effects for magic spells and generally updated and improved their mechanics
  • Added three new mobs that will be enhanced versions of the basic characters
  • Added a new boss, who you chose in previous votes (Rogue Catgirl) with a fully animated victory scene
  • We'll add a few more minion mobs that will protect the new boss

We expect to release an alpha version for testing new features by next weekend.
